There is some really good advice in this post. I think that being disciplined in the update cadence is one of the biggest changes to take into account if you have been a long time Kentico developer. It's not like the old days of waiting for a year or more to upgrade. Make it a standard on your team.

I agree that maintaining the update cadence can be a significant challenge, particularly when supporting multiple clients. However, with the automation and AI capabilities now available, there are plenty of effective ways to stay on top of this while still keeping costs manageable for clients.

My biggest takeaway from this article was how widely independent databases with CI integration are adopted as the standard. As an agency that prioritises shared databases for day‑to‑day development and leverages CI for larger, branched features, it was interesting to read the perspectives and reasoning from other MVPs and Community Leaders regarding their CI usage.
