We are using presets page templates in an upcoming project and find that we wanted to have an adjusted icon for one of the options. Is it correct that we can not customise the icons in XbyK?

Hi Danielle,
That's correct - the Icon field on the Save as preset page template dialog is a picker limited to Xperience's built-in xp-* icon set (same icons used elsewhere in the admin), so there's no option to upload or reference a custom icon.
Also worth noting: preset templates can't be edited once saved (no way to change name/description/icon on an existing one) - you'd need to delete it and save a new preset with the icon you want.
