Date formats appear only in US format
It appears that date formats are stuck in US format within the admin interface. I wanted to check if I am missing something or if someone in the community has managed to get date fields to output using a different format.

Although the administration UI technology has been built to support localization with both back-end and front-end resource strings, Xperience doesn't have any APIs or features to localize the administration UI as of October 2024.
However, we've received feedback from customers and partners requesting the ability to at least manually localize the UI.
We are tracking this feedback and making plans for support sometime next year.

I have submitted it on the roadmap in an effort to prioritise it. A nice stop gap, while its still in a fixed format, I think would be to at least move away from dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy as this format is what creates the most confusion for non-US based countries. In my opinion, using a format such as yyyy-MM-dd would at least be different and standard enough that it would work internationally.
There would probably be some content editors and marketers that wouldn't like that format, but you can never impress everyone.
