Kentico community programs

Kentico has two community programs - MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) and Community Leaders. Both programs aim to help Kentico spread brand and product awareness and ensure Kentico's partner agencies and customers build successful Kentico solutions that deliver ROI.

As a program member you will receive the follow benefits:

• Direct access to Kentico's team to share professional insights, helping shape our go-to-market strategy.

• Collaborative meetings with our product team, like UX feedback sessions and informal early-access product demos.

• Opportunities to present your perspectives and speak at our virtual and in-person events.

• Global expert recognition through Kentico's promotion of our community programs.

• Personal career and brand growth through these exclusive programs where they can build relationships with other, similar minded professionals.

• A free, "all access" Xperience by Kentico product license for learning and managing your personal digital experiences.

• Free seats for all Kentico product and services certification exams.

• Product and clothing gifts to show off your program membership and support of Kentico.

Both Kentico Community Leaders and MVPs are made up of professionals from the Kentico community. They also both aim to support Kentico and help others become knowledgeable about Kentico's products services.

At a high level MVPs give Kentico go-to-market insight and help us execute on our commercial strategy while Community Leaders share that real-world experiences about using Kentico with the Kentico community and help it grow.

The members of Kentico's Community Programs come from our community, including employees of our partner agencies, professional consultants, and even our customer's marketing teams.

Kentico Community Program members have the following key qualities:

• They are very interested in Kentico's products and services.
• They are knowledgeable of how Kentico helps solve our customer's digital marketing challenges.
• They want to share this knowledge with others.

Members of Kentico's Community Programs have the following traits

• Friendly and inclusive to people already participating and newly interested in the Kentico community.
• Honest and trustworthy both in their relationship with Kentico and our partner agencies and customers.
• Motivated and engaged in their participation in the programs and public sharing of knowledge about Kentico.

Individuals are awarded program member status for one calendar year beginning in January and ending in December.

Current members must reapply each year in December to be considered for the following year's awards.

People interested in joining Kentico's Community Programs should first review the other FAQs explaining the goals and benefits of Kentico's Community Programs.

Then, they should fill out the form on this page, sharing which program they are interested in joining and why. Kentico will follow up by scheduling a meeting to discuss the program in more detail and answer any questions.

Each program's definition and goals are defined on the Kentico Community Portal Community Programs web page. Although these programs overlap in some obvious ways, Kentico MVPs focus on strategic insights and commercial success for Kentico while Kentico Community Leaders are expert practitioners focused on strengthening the Kentico community.

No. Application forms are sent out at the end of the calendar year to community members who share their interest in one of Kentico's Community Programs by filling out the form on the Community Program's page and meet with Kentico about the programs.

We want to ensure applicants are understand our programs and are aligned with their goals. We also want to set them up for success when they submit their application, which is why we require an initial meeting and discussion.

We encourage community members to share their interest in one of our programs as early as possible! Waiting until the end of the year limits our ability to make sure applicants are matched with the right program.

Applicants are far more likely to be awarded program status when they have shown consistent engagement with activities throughout the year that promote Kentico and share insights about our products and services.

By meeting with us early we set applicants up for success through guidance and promotion of their community participation.

Definitely not! Kentico welcomes applicants filling any type of role in their business that allows them to develop the key qualities of a Kentico Community Program member.

In the past, program members were primarily software developers or technical experts, this is not a requirement or expectation. Kentico values a diverse set of members, voices, and perspectives in our programs to help them have the most impact for our customers and partner agencies.

MVPs often hold leadership positions at their agency which helps them have a well rounded perspective on Kentico's product-market fit, and commercial strategy success. They share this perspective with Kentico, our customers, and our partner agencies.

Community Leaders typically work as any role that interacts with Xperience by Kentico on a day-to-day basis, building technical solutions or executing on marketing strategy, which enables them to have practitioner tips and insights they can share with the Kentico community.

Current members of Kentico's community programs are the best representatives of the requirements and traits of future members. We recommend you follow them on the Kentico Community Portal and on LinkedIn, modeling their activities promoting success with Kentico.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of things you can do:

• Share your real-world thoughts and experiences working with Kentico on social channels like LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, or a blog.

• Attend (and present at!) Kentico's virtual and in-person events throughout the year.

• Participate in and start conversations about Xperience by Kentico and related digital marketing topics in the Kentico Community Portal Q&A discussions.

• Encourage your colleagues using Kentico to become more active in the community.

• Author open-source software related to Kentico or support us in our open-source presence on GitHub.

• Give us thoughtful feedback on our public product roadmap for Xperience by Kentico.
